Medicines in School

Many of the medicines that we are currently holding in school for individual children are no longer in date. As it is the responsibility of parents, and not the school, to ensure the dates of medicines are valid, could we please ask that parents come in to check the use-by dates and keep a record of when replacements are required.

Snow Closures

In case of snow and bad weather it is important for parents to be aware of emergency procedures.  The school position is that Balsall Common Primary School will remain open unless there is a blanket closure of all schools by Solihull Education Authority.  In such a situation, announcements will be made on the radio and TV stations below to inform parents.  Our school website www.bcpsonline.org.uk will have up-to-date information if a closure has been enforced.
